Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing has gained race rhythm at the second round of the Italian Championship Series in Arco di Trento.

A strong field of riders lined up for this second race of the season. Karlis Alberts Reisulis and Ivano van Erp were qualifying themselves in the first group in 13th and 17th position while Andrea Bonacorsi set the eighth fastest time in the second group.

Bonacorsi came back strong in the opening moto. He started around eighteenth position and fought his way back to eleventh place. Reisulis was riding a strong first part of the race and was riding just outside of the top ten. Due to a mistake he dropped back to twentieth position and finally he finished in 25th place. Eighth positions behind him it was Van Erp who came home in 33rd place.

Bonacorsi had to come back through the field again in the second moto. This time he was in twentieth at the end of the first lap. He gave everything he had and crossed the finish line in twelfth position. Reisulis worked his way up in to twelfth position but due to a mistake he lost a lot of positions and finally finished the race in 25th place while van Erp came home in 32nd position.

After two motos it was Bonacorsi who finished in eleventh position overall, Reisulis ended up in 27th position and Van Erp took 38th position overall. In two weeks from now Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing will participate in the Dutch MX Season Opener in Lierop.
