Andrea Bonacorsi of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing scored another heat victory during the eighth round of the EMX250 European Championship series at Arco di Trento in Italy. Bonacorsi fended off heavy pressure, but kept a cool head and rode to victory. A crash-filled second race kept Bonacorsi down to tenth in the second race, relegating him to fourth overall, just missing the podium.

Jeremy Sydow made his return from serious injury with ever-improving performances. Sydow finished fourth in the second race, marking his first top five in the series. Coupled to a seventh place finish in the first race, Sydow was sixth overall.

Dave Kooiker was ultra-motivated to turn around his battles with the qualifying hurdle. He qualified this time, with the 15th fastest time in his group. Kooiker finished 26th in the first heat, and 32nd in the second.

Bonacorsi is fifth in the championship standings, a solitary point behind Liam Everts. Sydow has risen to 13th spot, and Kooiker is 15th. The Penultimate round of the series will be next Saturday at Mantova, Italy, with the final the next Tuesday at the same track.
