Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing has finished the Dutch Masters of Motocross competition in a strong way at Oldebroek. Ivano van Erp finished on the podium with a third position and Andrea Bonacorsi finished in third position in the final championship standings.

The track in Oldebroek was well prepared and van Erp was feeling at home on it immediately by posting the fastest time in time practice. Reisulis and Bonacorsi were doing well as well by posting the sixth and seventh fastest time.

In the first moto it was van Erp who took a good start and was leading the field in the first couple of laps. He held on to this for a few laps and then dropped back to second. He kept pushing and was riding in second till after the midway point. Unfortunately he lost his rhythm a bit and had to lower the pace. This cost him a few more spots and finished the race in sixth position. Bonacorsi took a not so good start but charged back from around tenth position to finish the race in fourth place. After a few mistakes it was Reisulis who crossed the finish line in eleventh position.

In the second moto it was again van Erp who was leading after the start. This time he hold on to this position till the midway point. Then he got passed by Kay de Wolf but in the rest of the race he managed to ride a decent pace and finished the race in a strong second position. Reisulis was riding a strong race as well. He was riding in second in the beginning of the race but got passed by de Wolf and was riding in third for a long time. With only a few laps still to go he lost third position to Roan van de Moosdijk and finished in fourth position. Bonacorsi took a good start as well but made a mistake in the beginning and dropped back to seventh place. In the rest of the race he was fighting for sixth place but unfortunately he lost this position in the closing stages and came home in seventh.

Van Erp finished in third position overall and Bonacorsi and Reisulis ended the day in sixth and seventh.
