Andrea Bonacorsi of Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing finished on the podium during an international event at Blargies in France. Bonacorsi finished fourth and third in the races respectively, and this was good enough for third overall. Dave Kooiker was also solid with sixth and seventh in the races respectively.

The team used this event as a preparation for the EMX250 season, which is due to start in a few weeks’ time. A large entry of quality riders necessitated qualifying in two groups. Bonacorsi qualified second, and Kooiker fourth. They utilized their favorable gate picks to launch well into the first heat. Bonacorsi rode strongly, finishing fourth, just three seconds adrift of third. Kooiker had improved on his rhythm of the previous week, and finished sixth.

Bonacorsi went one better in the second race and finished third,  which hauled him to third overall. Kooiker also had a positive end to his day, finishing seventh in the final heat.

The team continues its training in preparation for the EMX250 season, and this may include more international outings.
