Thibault Benistant: What it Takes to Win!

Winning at this level takes more than just talent. It takes heart, dedication, commitment and sacrifice. It may seem like a lot, but if you ask anyone that has mounted the top step of the podium, the sacrifice is worth it.

If anyone knows what it takes, it’s the two-time European Champion Thibault Benistant who has climbed the Yamaha Racing pyramid with titles in both MX2 feeder classes, EMX125 & EMX250

As a result, the 18-year-old kid from Avignon, France, has been drafted into Yamaha’s top-tier MX2 team, Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2, where he will race a works YZ250FM inside the 2021 MX2 World Championship alongside Jago Geerts & Maxime Renaux #959. But first, he will make his MX2 debut aboard his Hutten Metaal Yamaha Racing GYTR kitted YZZ250F, the same bike he took to the title three days ago, this weekend in Lommel, Belgium.
