Janis Reisulis led the first moto for a long time, but a crash in the closing stages meant he eventually finished fifth. In the second moto he added a fourth place, which also earned him fourth overall for the day.<\/div>\n<div data-end=\"440\" data-start=\"128\"><\/div>\n<div data-end=\"717\" data-start=\"442\">Under tough conditions, the riders were immediately put to the test during this first race of the new season. In time practice, Janis and Karlis Reisulis showed their speed straight away with first and fourth fastest times respectively, marking a promising start to race day.<\/div>\n<div data-end=\"717\" data-start=\"442\"><\/div>\n<div data-end=\"931\" data-start=\"719\">Both riders also got off to strong starts in the motos. In both the first and second races, Janis and Karlis were inside the top three through the first corner, underlining the team\u2019s strong starting performance.<\/div>\n<div data-end=\"931\" data-start=\"719\"><\/div>\n<div data-end=\"1215\" data-start=\"933\">Janis Reisulis\u2019 pace was impressive throughout the entire weekend and he led the first moto for a long period. Unfortunately, his chances of a top result in both motos were dashed by a crash, which dropped him back each time and ultimately limited him to fourth overall for the day.<\/div>\n<div data-end=\"1215\" data-start=\"933\"><\/div>\n<div data-end=\"1563\" data-start=\"1217\">For Karlis Reisulis, the weekend proved more difficult. He crashed in the opening lap of the first moto and had to fight his way back from the rear of the field. Despite his determination, he was unable to make up many positions and also suffered from arm pump, which made riding even more challenging. A second crash further complicated matters.<\/div>\n<div data-end=\"1563\" data-start=\"1217\"><\/div>\n<div data-end=\"1695\" data-start=\"1565\">In the second moto, Karlis additionally encountered a mechanical issue, forcing him to ride conservatively and avoid taking risks. The team looks back positively on the weekend, and the race in Alghero confirmed that the foundation is solid.
